Graduates of this course will have specialised knowledge of the application of psychological principles and theory to workplace settings, where workplace settings include organisations of all forms, industries, and sizes. This course is delivered online and includes both self-paced learning and participation in several live online interactive workshops spread across the semester, for all units.The specific knowledge areas that are developed in this course include:Worker attitudes and behaviours in individual and team contexts, and the factors that shape theseWork motivation, work engagement, job satisfaction, and well-beingLeadership theory and practiceThe conditions for enacting effective organisational interventionsEthical and professional conduct relevant to the domain of work psychologyUpon completion of the course, students will be able to review, analyse, and synthesise knowledge and provide solutions to complex problems relating to the 'human side' of work.
