The Bachelor of Education (Primary) provides deep engagement in primary education through innovative approaches to teaching and learning combining on-campus and online learning experiences. To fully prepare you for your school-based professional experience placements, you study foundation subjects such as sociology for educators and educational psychology; teaching content knowledge with emphasis on building capacity in literacy, numeracy and science; and the full suite of primary curriculum subjects and pedagogy subjects. You may choose to study electives such as inclusive education, sustainability or science as part of your studies with a blended learning approach with both online and on campus program delivery. You will also be involved in engaged and work integrated learning, through working with a school from your first year and professional experience in a variety of primary schools.
